Dr. Wendy Precious, a freelance consultant specialising in Primary Science and learning wanted to create a brand for her consultancy business to enable her to package up her services for online use as well as in-school consultancy.
The target customer is twofold - both teachers of primary science, and their KS1 pupils. We didn't want the brand to feel silly, or patronise our young audience, but to inspire, educate and elevate them - so we took inspiration from the natural and scientific world to create our textures and patterns and create a visual identity that felt both playful and intelligent.
